YouthBizCentral - Online Entrepreneurship Curriculum

Student working on video productionThe Jacobson Institute recognizes the need for comprehensive entrepreneurship curricula in the classroom that enable educators to teach the “entrepreneurial mindset,” encouraging creativity, innovation, critical thinking, and problem-solving—and also equipping students with the skills necessary to excel in the worlds of business and entrepreneurship.

Through support from Roy J. Carver Charitable Trust of Muscatine, IA, the Jacobson Institute is currently developing the YouthBizCentral online entrepreneurship curriculum. YouthBizCentral will be piloted in Iowa schools during the 2008-09 school year. The curriculum will be available on a national scale in spring 2009.
