Area students who will be entering 5th or 6th grade in the fall have an opportunity to learn about entrepreneurship and business during the Jacobson Institute's Youth Entrepreneur Camp. Hills Bank & Trust Company generously supports the Iowa City Youth Entrepreneur Camp.

The Jacobson Institute holds two youth camps each summer, in Cedar Rapids and Iowa City. The camp runs daily from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (early drop off and late pick up are available for an additional fee).

During the camp, students will:

Learn how to make money doing what they love
Create business cards
Design a business flyer
Invent their own ice cream flavor
Make new friends
Have fun!

How much does the Youth Entrepreneur Camp cost?
The fee for the Youth Entrepreneur Camp is $175 for a week—lunch, snacks, materials, and T-shirt are included! Participants may elect to drop their children off early (7:45 a.m.) and pick them up late (until 5:30 p.m.) for an additional fee of $10 per day.

Scholarship Information:
The E.B. Green Summer Scholarship is for families requesting financial support for room/board and tuition. Please complete and submit one of the following applications.
