Pitch & Win Competitions

The Jacobson Institute offers organizations hosting student-centered festivals and events the opportunity to include a Pitch & Win Competition as part of their program. The Pitch & Win Competition can be customized to best meet the goals for the event.

The Pitch & Win Competition is typically administered as an entry-level event. The Pitch & Win is a great way to excite youth about entrepreneurship in a fun "go-for-it" atmosphere. This competition can be tailored for any age group. Some competitors in the Pitch & Win go on to compete in the more structured Quick Pitch Competition.

Quick Pitch Biz Plan Competitions

In partnership with Ernst & Young, the Jacobson Institute for Youth Entrepreneurship sponsors two Quick Pitch Biz Plan Competitions for any Iowa high school student with an interest in starting or expanding a business.

The Quick Pitch competitions are held in the fall and spring. While still considered entry level, the Quick Pitch requires more advance preparation (and includes bigger prizes!).
