Guide To Running a Business Plan Competition

Running a Business Plan Competition

$400 Mini-Grant Application
(Iowa educators only)

The Jacobson Institute is currently accepting applications from school districts and other organizations in Iowa interested in teaching entrepreneurship education. Up to 60 educators from around the state will be selected competitively to teach an entrepreneurship unit to secondary students. The Institute appreciates the generous support of the Community Vitality Center of Ames, IA which provides grants to 20 educators from non-metro communities annually.

The Guide to Running a Business Plan Competition is a collection of entrepreneurial information and activities developed by the Jacobson Institute for Youth Entrepreneurship designed to provide educators and organizations with the tools to integrate entrepreneurship education into the classroom and conduct a business plan competition.
